When you use Tipsy Party, we collect limited information to provide a personalized experience:
- Google Account Data: We use Google Login to authenticate you. From this, we receive your Full Name and Email Address.
- User-Provided Names: You may choose to input the names of your friends to customize game prompts.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous data through Google Analytics, such as how long you play and which game modes are most popular.
- Photos: You may choose to upload images to the app to hold memories of your nights.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authentication: Your email and name are used to create your account and save your progress/settings.
- Gameplay Personalization: Friend names are used solely within the game logic (e.g., “Who is most likely to… [Friend Name]?”). This data is used to generate the game experience and is not used for marketing.
- App Improvement: Google Analytics helps us identify bugs and improve the app’s performance and features.
- Photos: Photos you upload are only used to encourage you to make memories, they are only visible on the frontend of the app within your pofile. Your photos are never used for marketing without consent.
3. Data Storage & Retention
- Login Data: Your Google credentials are processed securely via Google’s OAuth systems. We do not see or store your Google password.
- Friend Names: These are stored on our secure databases and will remain on the database unless deleted from your account.
- Photos: Photos are stored on our secure servers for the duration of your account with us. You can also choose to delete photos from the memories section of the app.
- Account Deletion: Users may request the deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting hello@tipsyparty.com.
4. Third-Party Services
We utilize the following third-party services:
- Google Auth: To manage user login.
- Google Analytics: To track anonymous usage patterns. These services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our app is strictly intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.
